Our design rooms

Welcome to this cozy room whose harmonious colors and shapes create an atmosphere of peace and quiet. The ship we selected in this room is Gjøa. She was sailed by Norwegian adventurer Roald Amundsen and came to be the first vessel to go through the Northwest Passage - the sea route between the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean that runs through the Arctic archipelago of northern Canada. The crew of six people reached Alaska in 1906 after a chilly and punitive trip of over three years, where among other things, they frozen solidly outside Greenland. At home in Norway, they were celebrated as heroes. Gjøa can be seen at an exhibition in Oslo.
